Gentle Giants is a roving contemporary work that reflects on how our fears can turn into comfort. Adulthood, once intimidating, softens with time—and eventually, everything finds its way naturally. Through the recounting of personal and imagined stories by the performers, the audience will be taken through an exploration of the quiet wonder whether we are all just children stuck in adult bodies. It is a work that unpacks, revisits, acknowledges and embraces all the physical things, feelings & insecurities that we are and were afraid of while growing up.
As part of the experience, we invite the audience to share their emotions using our Mentimeter QR code. Your responses will be compiled and featured in the show. After the performance, we also encourage you to stay for a post-show dialogue, where you can ask questions and delve deeper into the creation of the work with the director and dancers.
