Parent-Child Heritage Craft Workshop - Discovering Objects from Grandpa & Grandma's Time In-Person
This is a parent and child workshop.
Each registration admits one parent + one child. Additional participants will require a separate registration.
Recommended for children aged 5 - 10 years old with a parent. The workshop is conducted in Mandarin.
Step back to 1960s–70s Singapore with Teacher Bao (包子老师) as she shares stories and traditional household items from her book Grandpa & Grandma’s Diary (《阿公阿嬷的日记》). Discover how families lived back then, and hear the fascinating stories behind everyday objects from the past. Then, get creative together by making your own traditional thermos flask craft from recycled materials, and bring a piece of history to life!
